Gastro
Gastro is a fine dining, interactive installation and short film that speculates on a post-climate-change world in the year 2100.
In this very possible future, restaurants do not exist anymore because farmers do not exist, therefore food cannot grow and cattle die often.
However, a few restaurateurs and chefs decide to open a restaurant to let visitors experience food from the past. These entrepreneurs create smart machines with the newest technologies that recreate old gastronomic experiences while also providing stories from farmers' struggles growing foods.

We are in the year 2100 many years after our climate change disaster. We do not have any food to grow or livestock to raise, and only consume lab grown foods. This year the International Association of Endangered Chefs and Restauranteurs are now letting people experience how foods used to be like, but they first asked themselves the following questions:
-
Why can we only consume lab grown foods instead of the foods we used to in the past?
-
What if we could smell, taste and see foods we do not have anymore?
-
How might we recreate dishes of non existent foods?
-
Then, they answered these questions by creating smart machines that would not only let people experience food that does not exist anymore, but also provide stories from farmers' struggles growing these foods.
