- Game & Interaction designer, focus on bringing games spirit into lives. My background was Industrial Design and started design games in MFA DT. Love video games, but to introduce more ways of gaming, most of my projects are not traditional video games, i.e. physical electronic arcade, VR, motion-controlled piece and social board games. The gaming spirit that I want to pursue and admire through my works is explorative, willing to take challenges, and always trying to overcome them in a fun way.
PIRATE ALLIANCE - DANCE BETWEEN LIES
Pirate Alliance is a 4-7-player bluffing board game where players, as pirate captains, are having a meeting to form an alliance against the coming Navy army, captains came in with different goals fight upon the leadership in this alliance and select fellow pirates into the alliance. It is a gamespace full of confusion and twists in response to social overconfidence.
Overconfidence grows inside us and Pirate Alliance is a tool to fight it and prevent it from growing too big that it hurts people around us and ourselves. Pirate Alliance sets up a game space and fills it with confusion and suspicion that assumptions of players’ get overwritten lots of times, and that’s how the overconfidence shrinks.
