I am a product designer and creative technologist pursuing an MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design. With an interest ranging from critical to speculative design, I create experiences by combining wearable technology, interaction design and Internet of Things.

- Imbrace is a fashionable alternative to ease recurring low back pain in female millennials, arising from non-specific causes. It is directed at enabling them to perform activities in environments outside of their homes. With a need for custom-fit, Imbrace is reinvigorating the traditional practice of tailored clothing. An online configurator is designed to allow for customization and personalization of the wearable to bring their style to life.
- Sitting for long hours, walking in heels, constantly leaning over devices and excessive workouts are some of the lifestyle choices that lead to low back pain on female millennials. Such pain is neither a disease nor a diagnostic entitiy. It is difficult to treat. Some popular treatment methods include lumbar support belt, pain medication, physiotherapy and heating bags. These methods are 'medical' in nature. Imbrace is outerwear designed to make female millennials feel empowered and indulge in self-care without compromising with their sense of style or their way of life.
