Merge
Merge is a generative art project that transforms the physical world into an endless canvas.
-
- By seamlessly merging virtual information with the physical reality together, the project aims at raising an artistic question of “what is real”. With the support of Microsoft Hololens, the mixed reality application constantly understands the 3D information of its surrounding space and maps a series of generative graphics onto the space accordingly in real time. The project explores a possibility of creating an ever-changing individual art experience for audiences that can happen at any time and at any place. It connects the audience, the space and the concept of time together so at to create an overall experience for the audiences.
