- Hi, I am Albee. My background is fashion and photography. Taking the chance while I am studying the Design and Technology department, this project to me is taking from my background as a designer to help a certain group that people rarely care about. With my family’s experience with my grandfather, applying my past academic study to make this project, half of it was trying to help people avoid the same situation that I had experienced, and half of it was to memorize my grandfather.

NIMBLE IS A BRAIN STIMULATION GAME THAT ENGAGES FAMILY MEMBERS OF ALL AGES AND SKILL LEVELS. IT IS DESIGNED TO REVEAL EARLY WARNING SIGNS OF MILD COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT (MCI) AND EARLY STAGE DEMENTIA IN SENIORS.

nimBLe is a brain stimulating game that helps identify early warning signs of mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Players exercise their brains together and begin to understand indicators of first stage dementia in seniors. The card game features word play, hand motor skills, logical thinking, facial expression, and oral presentation.
Families can also use the game as a cognitive training tool to encourage therapeutic social interaction and laughter in those exhibiting signs of dementia. It is important that MCI is caught at first onset, as medication controls symptoms most effectively in early stages. Early diagnosis of dementia also allows the individual and his or her family members to plan for future care.
