- “Alone in Space” is a physical installation which attempts to represent the mystery and eternity of the universe to the audience. With the mystery attribute, this project tries to show humans the unknown about the universe, extend it to the feeling of sublime and the curiosity it leads to. With the eternity attribute, this project becomes a meditative space that allows the audience to calm down and feel the tininess of an individual. The installation uses illusion created by the darkness to simulate boundless space of the universe with a physical rotating mechanism to mimic the drift of stars. It creates a space that allows the audience to feel the universe alone with himself. In this space, the rhythm of the eternal movements by the spheres is mimicking the long-lasting attribute of the universe, while the sensation of the subtle changes by the illusions and lights is representing a poetic of shifts of phenomena in the universe.
