I received my bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Eina, School of Design in Barcelona and will graduate this year with a Master of Fine Arts in Design and Technology from Parsons. I am passionate about sports and technology, and I'm always looking for innovative ways to combine them. Flow is my first step in that direction.

Flow

An experimental prototype to visualize skateboarding tricks.

Flow is an innovative way to look at skateboarding. Using a sensor attached to a skateboard, I am able to track the board's motion and visualize its movement in a 3D environment. The software takes the data input from the sensor and outputs a stylized recreation of the skater's run, transforming the position and orientation of the board into a visual breakdown of the steps involved in a trick. By displaying all these positions together, and in a 3D environment, skaters can now look at their tricks as a whole, from start to finish, seeing the trace of their tricks and how it flows.
