Starry World

We have lost ourselves, in both the darkness, and the shiny world.

Starry World is an experimental light installation that explores human self-cognition, perception, definition, orientation and dreams through the metaphor of stars and city light.

We light up the night to make it as bright as day due to our instinctive fear of unknown danger and the possibility of getting lost in darkness. We try our best to drive out the darkness and we think we have overcome it and will never get lost, but in doing so we abandon the star light which acts as a guide at dark night both physically and spiritually.

The light only shines when the darkness exists, and we will ultimately find ourselves lost in light.
