Gustavo Faria is an interaction designer and developer born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is curious about how everything works, very enthusiastic about developing meaningful projects and sharing ideas and knowledge. Gustavo is able to conceptualize a project, develop layouts, work on interaction flows and art direction, and develop prototypes. For the past few months Gustavo has enjoyed bringing his ideas to life using JavaScript. If you can't find him at the thesis exhibition show he is probably out looking for the best burger in New York.
This project aim is to ignite reflection about how personal information can be easily captured, aggregated, and delivered. In an installation experience, participants get their own personal data presented by a psychic with apparent power to reveal information about them with seemingly superficial or incomplete data. My thesis explores the boundaries of privacy as our interaction in digital space increasingly blurs lines between private and public.
