Louisa Campbell

Louisa Campbell is Parsons Research Faculty and teaches in the MFA in Design and Technology program.   Her education projects include gadgITERATION, where teenagers tinker with electronics to create personally expressive objects. The project is funded by the MacArthur and Mozilla Foundation.  Campbell ran a Parsons studio for STEM curriculum design centered on Making for magnet schools in NYC School District 3.  As co-executive producer for the New Youth City Learning Network,  Campbell helped established the organization that would become HiveNYC.  HiveNYC is group of cultural organizations experimenting with mobile technology and digital media, electronics and biological computing, to create youth-centered,  youth-driven learning products.   Louisa is also the author of many books, scripts and interactive titles for children.   She has worked as both a creative and executive at a variety of media companies including YouthNoise, Nickelodeon, MaMaMedia, Sesame Workshop, Scholastic, Disney, and Jim Henson Productions.
